A steel carport is the ideal structure for vehicle owners to take good care of their belongings. Our carports are the ultimate cost-effective option that will help increase the value of your property. Our steel carports will shield your vehicle(s) against the natural elements such as snow, rain, and direct UV light from the sun.

American Steel Carports Inc. offers three different roof styles that you can choose from:

  • Our traditional roof style is the Standard roof.

  • Our two A-frames styles, horizontal and vertical.

Metal garages offer the ultimate protection for your vehicle(s) and property at a lower cost than a traditional garage. Our metal buildings not only protect your property from the natural elements and inclement weather, they can also offer you peace of mind about home security when it comes to thieves. Or, do you need an indoor space to work on projects? The list of benefits for adding a metal garage on your property goes on and on.

When ordering your custom garage, one major thing to consider is the roof style. We offer three roofing styles to best meet your needs:

  • Standard Roof. Our standard roof style is the most economical option. This style will give you the traditional garage style with curved sides.

  • A-Frame (Horizontal). If you are looking for a residential-style, our A-frame roof styles will be more convenient for you. Our A-frame horizontal roof features a panel running from end to end.

  • A-Frame (Vertical). We highly recommend that you upgrade to an A-frame vertical roof for units that are greater than 30 feet in length. The main reason is that our sheet panels are only 30 feet in length, so the panels will be overlapping, causing the roof of your unit to have leaks in the future—and you don’t want that to happen to your belongings. With our A-frame vertical roof, however, our panels run from the peak of the unit toward the eaves, and it is reinforced with hat channels. Another important advantage of this roof style is that it is perfect for places with snow loads. With vertical panels, snow and debris can slide off the roof easily without the constant need for maintenance.

Wide span buildings are large metal structures, typically used for commercial purposes. Our clear span metal buildings are available in many sizes, starting at 32 feet wide.

You can fully customize the size of your building to best meet your needs. Here’s what you need to know about our sizing options for wide span metal buildings:

  • Length. There is no limit on the length we can produce! You can create a structure as long as you need.

  • Height. Our clear span buildings can range from 10 to 25 feet tall.

  • Width. The widest we can go is 100 feet. It is safe to say that even with a unit that big, it is still certified for us.

Our metal clear span structures are available in many different sizes. If you don’t see the size you need on our pricing sheet, it does not mean we will not do it. We can create your structure in any size, as long as it falls within the specifications noted above.

RV owners tend to be quite proud of their rigs. And why not? An RV is a great way to see the country, exploring beautiful places in comfort and style. Whether you have been an RV owner for years or just purchased your first motorhome, you will want to be sure to protect it properly while it is parked. With a metal RV carport from American Carports, Inc., you can keep your RV out of the weather and ready for your next adventure!

As we know, RVs can have different sizes and different exterior accessories that can alter some of the actual dimensions. That is why it is important to have the exact measurements of your RV and the adequate space within your RV carport for any additions.

  • Popular Dimensions. One of the most common sizes customers order for steel RV covers is 12 feet wide by 12 feet tall.

  • Custom Sizing. As you can imagine, some RVs tend to overpass the 12 feet in height. No problem. We can create a custom RV carport for you, up to 20 feet tall!

  • Important Note on Width to Height Ratio. For stability purposes, the width of our units cannot exceed the leg height. The width and height can always be the same but cannot surpass the leg height.

If you are considering adding a structure to your agricultural property, opt for a steel barn from American Steel. Metal barn buildings are a great way to save money on the project while still gaining the ample indoor space you need to keep things running smoothly.

Traditional barns made of wood may be the first thing to come to mind when you think of a farm building. To keep the same traditional look of a red barn while taking advantage of more modern materials, many farmers around the country have upgraded their wooden barn with a metal barn instead.

Here are some of the top benefits of choosing a metal barn building over a wooden barn:

  • Cost. A metal barn is less expensive than a traditional wooden barn. There are savings to be found both in terms of materials and labor.

  • Traditional or Modern Look. In today’s era, we have the materials and technology available to replicate the traditional wooden barn using galvanized steel. Or, we can create a more modern look to better suit your needs.

  • Customizable. For our farmers out there in the agricultural industry, they can all agree that they have a lot of unique needs when it comes to their structures. One key advantage of steel barns is the ability to easily customize the building to meet your varied needs.

  • Less Maintenance. Save money and time with a metal structure, which can reduce the need for regular maintenance.

  • Built to Last. Our metal barns are built to last. They are not prone to rot, decay and insect problems like traditional wooden barns.
